RED FOLDERS: Red Folders will be sent home this Friday, 2/22. Please sign and return as soon as possible. 

 Pennies for Patients Collection: February, 2/11 - 2/22: students can bring in spare change to support our efforts to raise money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society through Pennies for Patients. Beginning on Monday, they can also buy paper blood drops for $1.00, write their name on them, and post them in our lobby. 

Choir Fundraiser: Coffeehouse Valentune's Open Mic Night: Wednesday, February 20, 2019, from 4pm - 6pm. Admission cost is $3.00. Coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and snacks will be served for $.50 each. Bring your talent - we can't wait to see it!

Nick Weschler-Horace Mann provides Kindles for Trexler students with improved attendance. 

On Monday, December 3, 2018, teacher, Mike Gurdineer, returned 100 year old piece of history to the family of WWI veteran and long-time Allentown resident, James Franklin Lobach. 

On Wednesday, November 14, 2018, at the 7th Annual Latin Dance Competition, our Bulldog Latin Dance Team brought home the trophy for Best Overall Dance Team! We are so proud!

On Friday, November 2, 2018, we celebrated our October Students of the Month. 

Superintendent's Message: Curriculum Audit Findings


Trexler Middle School is one of 4 middle schools located in the city of Allentown. 
The richness of The Allentown School District's diversity is strengthened by its central role in educating our students for America's future through academic excellence and celebrating the culturally responsive, athletic and artistic range of talent in the schools. ASD students originate from 51 countries and speak 26 languages. There are twenty-five academic buildings throughout the City. 

During the 2016-2017 school year, the district enrolled 16,628 students across 15 Elementary & Early Childhood Centers (7,976), 4 Middle Schools (3,421) and 3 High Schools (5,231).  The Allentown School District has 2,429 personnel.

89.1% of our families are denoted as Low Income, and 100% receive Free/Reduced Lunch.  ASD is the third largest urban school system out of 500 Districts in the Commonwealth and serves a community with a poverty rate of 38.64% of the City's population. (2013 Census).
